The Arkaba Walk South Australia

The Arkaba Walk South Australia

The Arkaba Walk is a Wild Bush Luxury experience in an iconic outback South Australian setting.

By joining this fully hosted all-inclusive experience, you're not only witnessing an environment in recovery but you're also actively participating in its revival.

Stunning walking country

You'll see and hear the results of active conservation as you walk through the landscape and meet the wildlife in the company of passionate field guides. Explore 60,000 acres of privately-owned and carefully protected outback with a maximum of 10 walkers.

From dry creek beds, isolated waterholes lined with 1000-year-old River Red gums to craggy ridge lines and rolling hills covered in cypress pines, to the ancient ramparts of Wilpena Pound - this is some of the most stunning walking country in Australia.

Wild bush luxury

While everyone loves to have a comfortable bed and great food, it is the time spent with people on the ground that leaves a lasting impact. Of course, a really good glass of wine at the end of the day always helps! The true value of a Wild Bush Luxury experience on the Arkaba Walk is the vastness of space, the feeling of exclusivity and the opportunity to retreat into nature.

Fully exclusive trip

The Arkaba Walk is fully inclusive for five days and four nights, including all meals, beverages, accommodation and wilderness guides. Stay the first and last night in the luxury homestead. While on the walk you will stay in purpose-built glamping accommodation with swags under the stars and hot bush showers. There is sundowners and dinner under the stars as well as gourmet breakfasts to fuel up for the day ahead.

Think glorious diversity meets outback space and starry skies. Each day is around 13km and about six hours' moderate walking. There is time to stop and breathe in the outback - it is an amazing adventure.
