Thinking of moving to Regional Australia?
We love living in regional Australia and do so for the liveability and connection with community. We want to help you make that decision on why to make the move. We focus on the WHY so you can find the where.
This site shares information on work and business opportunities; growth regions; future industries that are developing in regional and rural Australia; and liveabilty issues like housing, education, and health. We also feature people who have set up businesses in a regional area and tell their story. If you want to take your city job with you but want to live out here with us, there is info on co-working spaces and the work-from-home revolution. For the entrepreneur, we also have information on start-ups and business hubs.
Weโre exploring opportunity throughout all of Australia but our main geographic areas are towns in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria where the move to the regions is making the greatest impact. Our focus is providing you with the knowledge to help you make your list of the places where you think you might go. Making the move is a big decision – the key is finding the place that ticks all your boxes.
If you want to try out a place to see what itโs like, we also provide some ideas on holidays and let you know what events are happening and where. Hard in our time of lockdowns but this gives you the sense of community in these areas.
This Regional Life is also on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn where extra information is shared and regularly updated. For photos on This Regional Life look for us on Insta.
